Tim Meyerjürgens has been CEO of TenneT Germany since January 2025. Prior to that, Meyerjürgens was Chief Operating Officer (COO) on the management board of the German-Dutch TenneT Holding B.V. since March 2019. In this role, he was primarily responsible for the cross-border transmission system operator's onshore and offshore business as well as international interconnectors.
Tim Meyerjürgens has almost 30 years of professional experience in the energy sector and extensive technical and operational knowledge. His focus is on designing a successful and secure energy system for the future and the efficient integration of renewable energies.
He is also an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Litgrid, the Lithuanian transmission system operator.
